Art Prompt: Stack up five or more like items in front of you – draw and color the pile. [Or take a picture of the stack, print in black and white and then color.

Writing Prompt: Make up a name for your stack of items and write it on the picture.

Art Prompt: Draw a picture of something in your house – then color it. If you don’t draw – find a picture of something in your house and copy it in black and white – then color it!

Writing Prompt: Write about what you thought of coloring books when you were very little – contrast it with how you think of them now.

Zebra Plant Stand

Art Prompt: Draw or find a picture of an animal that is used in home decor (i.e. a plant stand). Then make a collage of a room that includes  your  drawing.

Writing Prompt: Write about how you would decorate your favorite room if you had all the money and permission in the world.
